Shared Earth Network - Past Events

Blessing of the Animals

	Shared Earth Network sponsored a “Blessing of The Animals” on Saturday, October 4th in Flagstaff Arizona. They asked “Faith Leaders” from the community to literally bless animals (pets) that the community brought to them.

Faith Leaders included:

Dahamane Mahamani, Muslim, Flagstaff Community Masjid, Inc.
Ken McIntosh, Christian Protestant, Journey Church
Jean Myers, Jewish
Laurent Weichberger, Meher Baba
Larry Whelan, Christian Catholic, San Francisco de Asis

	Those present could choose to have their pet blessed by any of the Faith Leaders.


	Andrew Shepard and Doug Porter, played guitars and sang as people arrived.

Table displays were provided by Shared Earth Network, Animal Defense League of Arizona, Habitat Harmony, Grand canyon Wolf Recovery Project and Second Chance Center for Animals.
