The National
Day of Prayer
is a day designated by the United States Congress as a day when people are asked to come together and pray, especially for their country. It is held on the first Thursday in May.

Several Celebrations were held nationwide for this year's National Day of Prayer.

 

The Federated Church in Flagstaff Celebrated
the National Day of Prayer with an Interfaith Prayer Breakfast on May 7, 2009.

All faith groups were encouraged to attend an hour of delicious food, wonderful fellowship, and prayerful interreligious spirit. Everyone was welcome!
